These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.Job DescriptionWrapper/Utility WorkerElizabeth, NJCompensation IncludesStarting Pay Rate of $19.89/hour   Responsibilities Safely and efficiently perform the following tasks:Sweep aisles where machines are not in operation and your immediate work area Ensure bales are completely sealed and adhere to the baling quality policy following all production order instructions Palletize all bales of bags properly placing all labels in the required position following the quality procedure Properly strap bales of bags which need to be multi-paks in accordance with the production order requirements Use slip sheets for pallets requiring them in accordance with the quality standard Clean up all straps on the production floor Clean all spills in the baling production area Keep all clutter off the production floor Assure that the printing on the bales are meeting the quality standards Change strapping on strappers when needed Meet/achieve safety, quality, production waste and housekeeping goals set forth by management Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by managementQualificationsHigh School diploma or GED Experience in a warehouse environment Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and management Must have good eyesight (no colorblindness) to spot flaws in color comparison, print set-up, etc. as bags or film come off the production line Able to properly use basic wrenches and tools Must be able to read and write in English Able to lift and carry 50 lbsCompany BenefitsWhat You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
