Org Level 1 Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso Position Description Performs specialized Post Doctoral work in the planning, conducting and/or supervision of original research at TTUHSC. Responsible for participating in a research project associated with Ph.D studies and the interpretation of the results of publication. Work is performed under supervision of graduate faculty members with evaluation based on accomplishment of assigned objectives and overall effectiveness of project. May supervise research and student assistants. Requisition ID 44373BR Travel Required Up to 25% Major/Essential Functions * Design and conduct experiments, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation. * Prepare manuscripts for publication and contribute to grant applications. * Participate in academic activities such as lab meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops. * Assist with lab management, including training students and research team members. * Remain current with all licensure, certifications, and mandatory compliance and training requirements for this position. * Adhere to all policies, procedures, and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.). * Personally demonstrate, display and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Yes Minimum Hire Rate Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected Pay Basis Monthly Work Location El Paso Preferred Qualifications * Ph.D. in biomedical sciences or a related discipline, awarded within the past 1-2 years. * Strong expertise in virology, immunology, molecular biology, and/or animal studies. * A demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
