This role oversees staff conducting case-related activities, ensures adherence to policies and procedures, and serves as an escalation point for complex or high-risk situations. The position emphasizes quality, timeliness, and professional judgment while maintaining strict confidentiality.What You'll DoSupervise and support staff performing case-based and client-facing workAssign daily workloads and monitor progress to ensure accuracy and timelinessServe as escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high-risk casesReview documentation and work products for compliance with established standardsEnsure consistent application of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsConduct spot checks, quality reviews, and operational inspectionsProvide coaching, mentoring, and corrective feedback as neededSupport onboarding and training of new team membersManage schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and operational continuityCommunicate guidance, updates, and expectations clearly to staffPrepare reports and operational updates for managementMaintain strict confidentiality and professional boundariesPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution; orAssociate degree with additional relevant experience; orEquivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experienceTwo (2) or more years of relevant experience in child welfare, human services, case management, social services, or similar environmentsAt least one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience in a structured operational settingExperience working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments with detailed documentation requirementsStrong leadership, judgment, and decision-making skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretionStrong organizational and time-management skillsComfortable using technology and learning new systems quicklyBilingual English/Spanish required or preferred, depending on assignmentWork ScheduleFlexible schedule required, including evenings and weekendsMust be accessible by mobile phone as needed for operational mattersSecurity Clearance/Background Check RequirementsApplicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Must be a U.S. CitizenChild Abuse/Neglect Report (CAN) or child protective services check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.Favorable credit check for all cleared positionsAbility to obtain/maintain a Security ClearancePhysical DemandsStanding/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees and ability to regularly travel via air, car, train, etc.Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 15% - 49% of the time.Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 10% - 25% of the time.Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type, and use a telephone system 75% - 100% of the time.Physical Dimensions: May move 20-30 lbs.Consider the position at hand (i.e., lifting, pushing and pulling won't be very necessary).
