As we celebrate 10 years this year of 2026, this is an opportunity to join a high-functioning team that is committed to excellence, energized by transformation, and unparalleled in the fight against hunger.THE ROLEThe Distribution Associate team is the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that food reaches our partner pantries and community members efficiently and accurately. This hands-on role directly contributes to our mission by preparing, organizing, and distributing food to those who need it most. You will work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.Order Fulfillment & Distribution: Check the delivery/pick-up schedule board daily and prepare assigned orders. Load agency orders into trucks with accuracy and care. Prepare outgoing orders based on agency order sheets: verify product type, quantity, and weight; attach labels including agency number, invoice number, number of pallets; mark for pick-up or delivery; and turn in finished order lists to Distribution Manager. Unload donated items. Tag, date, and place in proper order in the storage area. Receive incoming shipments: verify case count, check for damage, and document properly.Warehouse Operations & Safety: Assist in trash duties and cleaning docks, warehouse floors, and chiller/freezer areas. Follow all safety procedures, including not driving forklifts unless certified to do so.Organizational Representation: Be polite, presentable, and courteous to all employees, volunteers, and donors. Stay informed of organizational matters to navigate questions from the community. Support efforts to streamline processes and collaborate across functions.QUALIFICATIONSWe'd love to hear from you if you have: Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment Comfort working in varying temperatures (warehouse, chiller, freezer) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support colleagues across tasks Unquestionable character and a commitment to serving our community Proof of Forklift Certification (can be certified internally)You must have a valid driver's license, be able to pass a background check and random drug testing, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day. A 30-minute lunch break is required every shift.
