Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR) - Edison, New Jersey

Support complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional procedures by assisting the proceduralist side-by-side as an experienced Imaging - IR Technologist. This contract position is based in Edison, NJ, requiring 3-5 years of focused experience and current NJ radiographic licensure (ARRT certification required). Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum 3-5 years as Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure ARRT certification and BLS certification from an approved American Heart Association program Strong expertise with floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines Ability to operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media during procedures Proficient at maintaining sterile technique and infection prevention during procedural tray setup Experience managing groin care post-intervention Skilled in critical thinking during complex neuro-interventional procedures Excellent communication using closed-loop techniques within multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of electronic medical record documentation and image transmission to Sectra/PACS systems Ability to efficiently identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products intra-procedurally Responsibilities: Assist proceduralist throughout complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro cases Scrub in side-by-side for specialty procedural support Operate fluoroscopic imaging modalities and power injectors safely Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards Collaborate effectively with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons Participate in documentation and image management workflow Provide high quality care in a fast-paced environment adhering to procedural protocols Location: Edison, New Jersey offers a vibrant suburban community with convenient access to major metropolitan areas.
