Our client is a national provider of intermodal support services. The company specializes in maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and storing marine containers and chassis. Formed through the combination of several long-standing service providers, they are known for their focus on safety, quality, and strong customer relationships. They are currently looking to add a Data Entry Clerk to their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $20/hr Position Overview: The Data Entry Clerk focuses on accurate data entry, administrative support, and smooth day-to-day office operations. The Data Entry Clerk supports internal teams by maintaining records, preparing documents, and ensuring information flows efficiently across the organization. Responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk: Enter, update, and maintain data in company databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems with a high level of accuracy. Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct or escalate as needed. Prepare, format, and organize documents, reports, and correspondence. Manage incoming emails, calls, and inquiries. Route messages to the appropriate team members. Maintain digital and physical filing systems to ensure information is organized and easily accessible. Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and arranging basic logistics. Support general office tasks such as scanning, copying, mailing, and ordering supplies. Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve workflow efficiency. Required Experience/Skills for the Data Entry Clerk: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or Google Workspace. Comfortable learning new software and data systems. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Clear written and verbal communication abilities. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Data Entry Clerk: Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role. Experience with CRM systems, ERP platforms, or database tools. Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
