This position calls for someone looking to work part time hours of 24 hours per week, but could work up to 40 hours per week as needed occasionally.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform all pre and post trip checks as per protocol.Operate the provided equipment within the guidelines of the George's Fleet Safety policy.Operate ELD properly and legally.Obey all local, State, Federal and DOT regulations.Maintain a safe work environment.Maintain satisfactory attendance and job performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.Obey all animal welfare rules and regulation laws.Return signed proof of delivery paperwork in a timely manner.All other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will not have supervisory responsibility.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE RequiredCurrent Class A CDL Driver's licenseMust be able to pass DOT physicalMust be 18 years or olderMust be eligible to work in the United States1 year of experience with completed driver's school training OR 2 years of experience without driver's school trainingProficiency in EnglishPreferredPoultry or meat processing experienceGeorge's is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
