We offer our employees the opportunity to advance their careers in our progressive, vibrant organization.Job Summary:The General Labor in the Repack Department is responsible for sorting, grading, repacking, labeling and preparing fresh peppers for shipment in accordance with company quality standards and food safety guidelines. This role supports daily production goals while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSort and inspect produce for quality, size, color and defects according to company standardsRepack produce into designated packagingApply labels, date codes, and product identification accuratelyRemove damaged or non-conforming product from the production lineAssemble boxes and prepare finished product for palletizingFollow good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety and sanitation proceduresCompany with company policies, including safety and attendance standardsAssist with general warehouse or production tasks as neededMaintain clean and organized workstations throughout the shiftContinuously monitor and maintain work area clean, including keeping floors clear of debris such as broken wood, splinters, cardboard, plastic wrap and packaging materials.Requirements and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredNo previous experience required; produce, warehouse or food manufacturing operations preferredKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, Food Safety preferredSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a teamProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detailWorking ConditionsHours of work may vary depending on business needs.; flexibility requiredThis job operates in a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55°F.
