Associate - Support Services Technician

Job Summary: This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces. Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, maintaining their proper function and hygiene. Handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety guidelines. Follow all infection prevention and safety policies diligently. Work both independently and collaboratively to support department goals. Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Previous experience in a related role is advantageous. Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus. Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant experience. Work Schedule: Second shift, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
