RNG Plant Manager Eden, Wisconsin (Site-Based)We're supporting a growing renewable energy platform in the search for a Plant Manager to take full ownership of a key anaerobic digestion and renewable natural gas (RNG) facility.This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership role where you'll be responsible for the safe, reliable, and profitable operation of the site. You'll lead from the front "” driving performance, managing teams, and ensuring the plant operates at peak efficiency in a 24/7 environment.You'll sit at the centre of operations, working cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, and commercial teams while also managing third-party partners and contractors.The RoleThis position is responsible for end-to-end plant performance, covering operations, maintenance strategy, safety, compliance, and financial delivery.Key responsibilities include:Full ownership of day-to-day plant operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient performanceDriving uptime, availability, and reliability across all plant systemsLeading and developing site operations and maintenance teams in a 24/7 environmentOverseeing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, working closely with engineering and reliability teamsManaging third-party O&M providers and contractors, ensuring delivery against performance expectationsIdentifying and resolving operational issues through hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysisDriving continuous improvement initiatives, including LEAN methodologies and reliability-centred maintenanceSupporting commissioning, start-up, and ongoing optimisation of plant systems and processesMonitoring and reporting on KPIs across performance, safety, and productionManaging site budgets, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring alignment with financial targetsEnsuring full compliance with EH&S standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental permitsBuilding strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and external regulatorsWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for a proven plant leader who can balance hands-on operational involvement with strategic oversight.You'll likely bring:10+ years' experience within industrial or process plant environments(RNG, biogas, wastewater treatment, oil & gas, chemical, or similar)Demonstrated experience in a Plant Manager or senior operations leadership roleStrong understanding of anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading, or process systems (highly desirable)Technical knowledge across mechanical and process equipment "” pumps, compressors, blowers, piping systems, and plant infrastructureExperience operating within a 24/7 continuous process environmentFamiliarity with SCADA / HMI systems and real-time operational troubleshootingProven track record in maintenance strategy, reliability, and asset performance optimisationExperience implementing LEAN, continuous improvement, or reliability-centred maintenance practicesStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, lead, and develop teamsCommercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlAbility to operate in a fast-paced, growing, and evolving environmentWhy This RoleFull ownership of a key RNG facility within a growing platformOpportunity to play a critical role in the energy transition and decarbonisation spaceHigh level of autonomy and impact at site levelExposure to cutting-edge anaerobic digestion and gas upgrading technologiesStrong long-term growth potential as the platform continues to scaleThis is a role for someone who wants to own a site, drive performance, and make a tangible impact in a sector that's only going one way.
