Associate Support Services Technician - Evening Shift

Overview: Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within a regional healthcare facility in the Midwest. This role emphasizes professionalism and hospitality while performing essential non-clinical tasks that support patients, staff, visitors, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Perform floor care duties including top scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing floors to a high gloss using specialized equipment. Conduct detailed cleaning tasks such as edges, baseboards, doors, and transition strips. Manage supply inventories and place orders for cleaning and maintenance materials. Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist with moving furniture and equipment as needed. Perform window washing, carpet cleaning, and light fixture maintenance. Maintain and report on equipment condition, ensuring timely repairs. Adhere to departmental standards and participate in training and meetings. Demonstrate excellent guest relations through courteous and respectful interactions. Support legal and regulatory compliance by reporting any concerns related to safety or conduct. Protect confidentiality and privacy of all individuals within the facility. Work collaboratively with team members, offering assistance and fostering a cooperative environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and peers, providing updates and seeking solutions. Report safety incidents promptly and follow established safety protocols. Participate in disaster response duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a related support services or maintenance role is advantageous.
