Clinical Laboratory Supervisor in Central Georgia (Less than 2 hours from ATL)

Clinical Lab Supervisor Location: Central GA, United States Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekends or holidays), Evening shift 1pm - 10:30pm with some overnight work as necessary Job Summary: The Clinical Lab Supervisor is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations in the technical area(s) of the Hospitals and Clinics. This role includes department, discipline, and/or shift oversight to ensure peak laboratory operations and quality standards are met. Major Responsibilities: Provide work direction, expertise, and guidance to staff Oversee clinical laboratory testing and evaluation of results Participate in projects to meet strategic initiatives Monitor budget compliance Implement performance improvement processes Ensure quality, regulatory, and compliance standards are met Coordinate training and competency testing of staff Monitor and maintain quality indicators Select, coach, and develop team members Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification issued by ASCP or Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by ASCP or equivalent accrediting agency Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology or equivalent Experience Required: 3 years of experience in technical laboratory services and operations Our Commitment to You: Offers a comprehensive suite of Total Rewards including competitive compensation, benefits, retirement plans, career development programs, and more to support your well-being both at work and away from work.
