Server/Cashier

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Experience in food preparation, POS systems, and food safety is preferred but not required. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while providing excellent service to our guests.ResponsibilitiesTake customer orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systemsHandle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments with precisionPrepare and serve food items according to established standards, including basic food preparation and food handlingMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and cleaning utensilsUpsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunitiesEnsure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standardsAssist with food delivery from kitchen to dining area as neededProvide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptlySupport team members during busy periods by performing duties such as serving, cashiering, or light kitchen tasksQualificationsPrevious experience in food service, quick service, or retail environments is a plus but not mandatoryKnowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageousStrong customer service skills with a friendly demeanorBasic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math tasksAbility to manage time effectively in a fast-paced settingFood safety certification or willingness to obtain certification preferredExperience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is beneficialExcellent communication skills and teamwork orientationAbility to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting light loads and cleaningJoin our team where your enthusiasm for food service can shine while delivering memorable experiences for our guestsPay: From $15.00 per hourExpected hours: 20.0 per weekWork Location: In person
