This role serves as a working lead, providing hands-on support while coordinating team activities, monitoring workflow, and acting as a liaison between production staff and management.Key Responsibilities:Production & Operations OversightCoordinate and prioritize daily work assignments for Wax personnel to meet production schedules.Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and equipment usage to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.Ensure all wax patterns and assemblies meet quality specifications and customer requirements.Troubleshoot production issues and escalate complex concerns to supervisors or engineering as needed.Quality AssuranceEnforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.Conduct in-process inspections and ensure defects are identified, documented, and addressed promptly.Collaborate with the wax supervisor and process engineering to address audit findings.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scrap reduction and process optimization.Team Leadership & DevelopmentProvide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to Wax team members.Responsible for training new hires and cross-training existing employees.Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment aligned with company values.Communicate performance expectations clearly and consistently.Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all safety policies, OSHA standards, and PPE requirements.Lead by example in maintaining a safe and organized work environment (6S principles).Report and document safety incidents, near misses, and hazards promptly.Administrative & HR CollaborationCommunicate employee relations matters, performance concerns and any problems to your supervisor.Reinforce company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.Participate in cost reduction efforts.Qualifications & Requirements:Education & Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in wax dimensional inspection, injection, and/or assemblyPrior leadership or lead experience is strongly preferredOther Required Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesStrong understanding of wax assembly processes and production workflows.Demonstrated leadership, communication, conflict management, time management, and interpersonal skills.Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and technical documents.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Basic computer skills and understanding of OracleSelf-motivated, flexible and able to promote a team environmentDetail orientedMechanically inclinedSafety consciousNOTE: Consolidated Precision Products is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, pregnancy, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected under applicable lawIt is the policy of the company to comply with all aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
