Electronic Security Systems Integrator / Technician

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems Integrator to install, service, and support commercial electronic security systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Axis Communications, Avigilon, DMP, and Honeywell systems and is comfortable working with electronic access control systems and electronic locking hardware in commercial environments. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and service IP video surveillance systems (Axis Communications, Avigilon, Exacq) Install and service intrusion detection systems (DMP, Honeywell) Install, configure, and troubleshoot electronic access control systems (S2, Keri, Alta) Install electronic locking hardware including electric strikes, mag locks, electrified hinges, DPS, and REX devices Perform cable pulls, terminations, labeling, and testing (Cat5/6, low-voltage wiring) Configure cameras, controllers, panels, and networked devices Read and interpret drawings, risers, and project specifications Perform system testing, commissioning, and customer training Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently Complete accurate documentation and service reports Follow safety standards and installation best practices Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience as an electronic security technician or integrator Hands-on experience with Axis Communications, Avigilon, DMP, and Honeywell systems Strong working knowledge of electronic access control systems Experience installing commercial electronic locking hardware Ability to work independently in the field Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Preferred Qualifications Manufacturer certifications (Axis, Avigilon, DMP, Honeywell) Experience in commercial, healthcare, or government environments Knowledge of low-voltage codes and best practices Lift certification or experience operating lifts Strong customer service and communication skills
