This role handles routine and emergency plant operations, requiring general knowledge of industry maintenance practices and the ability to work independently.What your day-to-day will look like:Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and adjust equipment to minimize service interruptions and downtimeExecute maintenance and repair work for boilers, HVAC equipment, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, and building infrastructurePerform complex operating procedures for high pressure steam boilers, lab utilities, emergency generators, and fire pumpsMonitor water chemistry in various systems and make necessary adjustmentsMaintain mechanical spaces for safety and housekeeping to be audit-readyRespond to emergencies, identify problems, and take corrective actionsReview and complete work orders, logs, and documentation in the BMS CMMSEnsure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and JLL policiesRequired Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentMust possess a valid driver's licenseAbility to work independently and plan work without direct supervisionSkills to operate electric hand tools, work on ladders, and lift heavy loadsAbility to operate required equipment and motor vehiclesPhysical capability to perform maintenance tasksPreferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of building automation and system controlsExperience with HVAC/R systems and boilersProficient computer skillsAbility to provide guidance and mentoring to team membersWork Schedule:3x2 rotation: Alternating between day and night shifts every two weeksDay shift: 7am - 7pmNight shift: 7pm - 7am12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidaysOvertime is requiredSalary/Comp:$64,000.00 + OT hours per year: 208 hoursFor the minimum salary ($64,000):Regular hourly rate: $30.77/hr.
