Advanced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - Multi Modality

The VA New Jersey Health Care System is recruiting 1 Full-Time Advance Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Multi-Modality) position located in East Orange, New Jersey. Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Multi-Modality) is located in the Imaging Service for the New Jersey VA Healthcare System. The incumbent is responsible for multi-modality coverage across campuses and the incumbent performs: Multiple types of CT procedures dictated by service policy, utilizing current software upgrades, including cardiac, CTA, head, body, neck, chest, spine, extremity, CT guided biopsies, etc. Special/lnterventional procedures dictated by service policy and software upgrades, such as peripheral, visceral, body, head, extremities, and lnterventional studies, such as TIPS, Stent placements, Permcaths PICC's, PCN's etc. CT, Special Procedure/lnterventional examinations are performed with and without the use of contrast materials. The incumbent integrates specific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care with useful diagnostic information for proper diagnosis and treatment. The incumbent provides multi-modality coverage across campuses and the incumbent performs: * All types of CT procedures dictated by service policy, utilizing current software upgrades, including cardiac, CTA, head, body, neck, chest, spine, extremity, CT guided biopsies, etc. * All types of Special/ lnterventional procedures dictated by service policy and software upgrades, such as peripheral, visceral, body, head, extremities, and lnterventional studies, such as TIPS, Stent placements, Permcaths PICC's, PCN's etc. * CT, Special Procedure/lnterventional examinations are performed with and without the use of contrast materials. Work Schedule: 4:00pm - 12:00am; Varied days, including weekends & holidays Pay: Competitive salary and regular salary increases Paid Time Off: 37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year) Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior [work experience] or military service experience. Parental Leave: After 12 months of employment, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave in connection with the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child.
