Job Description SENIOR DESIGN DRAFTER (Permanent) Our client, an established, international and well-known organization with roots in WNY (located in the South Towns), is seeking a Senior Design Drafter to join their growing team. Responsibilities: Perform daily drafting & design responsibilities contributing to the overall success of each project Collaborate with Design Engineers to conceptualize designs for various projects Ensure designs are detailed and complete to include layouts, schematics, assembly drawings, detail drawings, and parts lists Review and redesign existing products-including repackaging Perform complex calculations to ensure accurate sizing, assembly, performance, etc. Participate in material/component selection to fulfill design requirements Design fixtures and tooling where necessary Oversee and mentor junior drafting personnel providing guidance and support when necessary Review Jr. Drafting team's work for accuracy and compliance Collaborate with Production team members to develop controls and resolve manufacturing issues Ensure all design documentation is completed in compliance with company and military standards Work well in a team environment as well as independently Other duties as assigned/as necessary Details: Position is full-time, direct hire 100% in-office with hybrid opportunity after several months $85,000 - $105,000 annually depending on experience Medical, Dental, Vision, flexible PTO package, annual profit sharing (approx. 2%-5%), 401k with match ($0.50 up to 10% + additional 2%-5% company contribution based on age), Life/Disability, Stock options, FSA/HSA, Employee Assistance Plans (EAP), Tuition Assistance 10-15 years' experience in packaging design Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Engineering Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Proficient computer skills; experience with Siemens NX 3D MCAD software preferred Strong organization skills, analytical, and time management skills Meticulous attention to detail Self-motivated Relocation assistance available Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available All employees and applicants, please know that you have access at all times to New York State and Federal Labor Laws and Posters at the Government Agency websites:
