Shipping Specialist

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing civil engineering company in the RTP area who is hiring an Entry Level Shipping Specialist to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.Responsibilities:Receive and inspect incoming shipments.Prepare items for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and securing items for spect shipments for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate parties.Verify the accuracy of shipments against accompanying documentation.Create shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.Sign for deliveries and ensure that the correct quantity and quality of items have been received.Requirements:Candidate must have 1 year warehouse background, clerical experience a plusMust be computer savvy with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entryMust be able to lift up to 50lbs continuouslyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesHigh school diploma/GED equivalent requiredMust be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
