We are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day HR functions, which include benefits administration, leave management, and enforcing company policies and practices. This role will provide valuable support to both managers and employees, addressing day-to-day questions and concerns. The emphasis is on delivering high-quality, detailed work while adhering to established standards and procedures. The HR Specialist will collaborate with personnel across all our locations. Key Responsibilities: Manage the complete recruitment process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. Oversee the HRIS system, including maintaining employee files, overseeing programs, and managing the self-service portal. Develop, communicate, and enforce company policies and procedures, while keeping the employee handbook up-to-date. Collaborate with managers during performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and termination processes. Administer and execute human resource programs, addressing matters such as benefits, disputes, investigations, and training. Serve as the primary contact for routine employee inquiries regarding policies and benefits and escalate complex issues to senior HR management. Build effective relationships across the organization and contribute to maintaining a positive company culture. Communicate and interpret policy, benefit, and ESOP information to employees as needed. Advise managers on various organizational matters, including performance assessments and conflict resolution. Establish recruiting networks through collaboration with labor agencies and universities. Implement and maintain programs for new hire orientation and employee recognition. Onboard H2B and H1B Visa workers, collaborating with immigration attorneys to ensure compliance with visa programs. Ensure compliance with legal requirements by staying updated on legislation and advising management accordingly. Qualifications: Three to five years of HR administration experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel. Experience with HRIS and benefits databases; ability to learn new systems quickly (organization utilizes Paylocity). PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Strong organizational skills and capacity to work under pressure while prioritizing tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills for handling sensitive situations with professionalism and tact. Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Experience with H2B or H1B Visa program administration is preferred. Ability to travel infrequently to other states. Benefits Package: Comprehensive Family Medical Benefits Package.
