Key Responsibilities: • Perform CT scans on patients using specialized equipment, following the facilities established protocols and safety procedures.• Prepare patients for CT scans, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and well-being throughout the process. Position patients correctly and administer contrast materials when necessary.• Ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images, paying attention to detail and adhering to imaging protocols to assist in accurate patient diagnosis.• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff during CT procedures.• Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging data and patient information. Ensure timely documentation in the hospital's electronic health record (EHR) system.• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and assist in diagnosing medical conditions.Qualifications:• 2 Plus years' experience as CT Tech in Hospital setting• High school diploma or equivalent.• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care and safety.Client Details Address529 Central Avenue CityHospital in Southern Tier Region of New York StateNY Zip Code14048
