Casting Specialist - Mold Table

Job DescriptionJob Title: Casting Specialist Location: Duluth, MN Compensation: $26.00 per hour - paid weekly Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Casting Specialists for a leading manufacturing company in Duluth, MN. In this hands-on role, you'll help prepare high quality molds and ensure safe, accurate casting operations that support a well established production team. Read below to learn more!What You'll Do as a Casting Specialist Prepare and set up high quality molds and operate molding table stations Apply and inspect poly film using a film machine Perform weekly film heater temperature tests and record results Mix, manage, and apply mold wash materials Test, clean, and maintain spray equipmen Inspect hoist equipment, flasks, and conveyor components Operate and inspect strike off machines and ensure proper sand flatness Support pattern changes, core placement, and mold preparation Maintain mold table cleanliness and move mold components using appropriate equipment#worknow What You Need to Bring to the Casting Specialist Role High school diploma or equivalen Experience in foundry operations preferred Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Basic math skills and ability to follow technical instructions Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
