Safety Manager (Telecommunications Construction)Location: Dulles, VAIndustry: Telecommunications / Data Center ConstructionExperience: 4+ YearsCertification Required: CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician)OverviewA leading telecommunications contractor is seeking a Safety Manager to support construction operations in the Dulles, VA area, with a strong focus on data center and critical infrastructure projects. This individual will play a key role in implementing and maintaining site safety programs, ensuring OSHA compliance, and promoting a culture of safety across field operations.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement, manage, and enforce company-wide safety programs, policies, and procedures across active job sitesConduct routine jobsite safety audits, inspections, and field observations to identify risks and ensure complianceProactively identify hazards and ensure adherence to OSHA standards and regulatory requirementsPrepare, track, and distribute Predictive Solutions (PS) safety audit reports and associated metricsAssist with incident investigations, including root cause analysis, claims management, and injury trackingSupport OSHA inspections, internal audits, and ensure subcontractor safety complianceMaintain accurate and up-to-date safety logs, reports, and SDS documentationLead and deliver jobsite safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training programsPartner closely with Superintendents and Project Managers to integrate safety into project planning and executionQualifications4+ years of experience in construction safety, ideally within telecommunications, utility, or infrastructure projectsCHST certification required (CSP or additional certifications are a plus)Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and hazard mitigation practicesExperience supporting data center or mission-critical construction projects preferredProven ability to work in a field-based environment and engage with subcontractors and field crewsStrong communication, reporting, and organizational skills
