Fence Installation Technician Location: Dublin, VA (Local travel only) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (hours may vary slightly based on job site needs) Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Fence Installation Technician to join a growing team specializing in farm and livestock fencing, with occasional residential and light commercial projects. This role involves outdoor work, hands-on installation, and traveling from the shop to local job sites each day. Key Responsibilities • Install farm and livestock fencing (wood, wire, and related materials) • Assist with residential and small commercial fencing projects • Perform general labor duties including digging post holes, setting posts, stretching wire, and securing materials • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment • Operate company trucks and trailers (when qualified) • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition • Follow all safety procedures on job sites • Report to the shop daily before traveling to job sites Basic Requirements • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day • Valid driver’s license strongly preferred (required for operating company vehicles) • Comfortable working on a team and following supervisor direction • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools & ability to run a skid steer loader. • Construction, fencing, carpentry, or farm experience preferred but not required • Reliable transportation to and from the shop • Must pass background screening (clean background strongly preferred) Ideal Candidate • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance • Comfortable with physical labor • Experience with fencing, carpentry, construction, or farm work • Able to work independently or alongside a crew lead • Willing to learn and grow with the company What We Offer • Competitive starting pay at $18/hour • Steady Monday–Friday schedule • Local work (no long-distance travel) • Opportunity to gain hands-on construction and agricultural experience
