This role performs custodial, sanitation, and light maintenance duties to ensure a clean, safe, and fully operational medical facility. Ideal candidates have experience in hospital housekeeping, environmental services (EVS), or building maintenanceIn this role, you are the backbone of our hospital environment, ensuring that every space is clean, safe, organized, and fully operational so our veterinary staff can focus on what matters most: exceptional patient care. You take pride in your work, communicate well with colleagues, and thrive in a team-oriented setting.Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout assigned areas of the hospitalSweep, mop, wax, and vacuum floors and carpets to maintain a clean environmentClean and disinfect hallways, restrooms, common areas, and light fixturesDust and polish furniture and surfaces on a regular scheduleEmpty waste receptacles and manage proper disposalPerform minor building and equipment repairsAssist with moving and arranging furniture, equipment, and suppliesManage supply inventory and coordinate ordering of materials as neededCoordinate and oversee vendor relationships for facilities-related servicesSupport the team with other duties as assigned by your managerBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentUnderstanding of proper cleaning methods, materials, and equipmentBasic building and grounds maintenance knowledgeAbility to operate and maintain janitorial tools and equipmentExperience with Microsoft Office and online ordering platforms (e.g., Amazon, Staples)Ability to complete minor facility repairsStrong ability to follow written and oral instructionsComfortable using and operating a computerStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and clientsBenefits:Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurances, flex-spending accounts, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, 3 weeks accrued paid time off, and uniformsEthos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
