NOW HIRING: Residential Construction Site Superintendent (Ground-Up) Project: The Blackstone (presented by North Arrow Partners & Turnstone Development) Location: 1223 South Washington Street, Du Quoin, IL 62832 Project Overview: 2-story residential building | 36 units North Arrow Partners & Turnstone Development are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Site Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for The Blackstone, a ground-up senior residential project in Du Quoin, IL. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organization, schedule control, and subcontractor coordination to deliver milestones safely and on time. Minimum Requirement (Inquiries Only) ✅ Must have 5+ years of residential, ground-up new construction superintendent experience. (Only candidates meeting this requirement will be considered.) Key Responsibilities Lead daily on-site operations from start through closeout Coordinate and supervise subcontractors; manage sequencing and manpower Maintain and drive the project schedule, milestone tracking, and look-aheads Read and interpret plans/specs, coordinate RFIs, and resolve field issues Enforce jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and site policies Coordinate inspections and ensure work meets quality standards and code requirements Track deliveries, materials, and site logistics; maintain clean, organized jobsite Communicate clearly with the development team, trades, and inspectors Document daily progress, photos, reports, and field coordination notes Qualifications 5+ years as a Residential Ground-Up Superintendent (required) Strong blueprint reading and plan/spec interpretation Knowledge of local building codes, inspections, and compliance requirements Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong organizational skills, documentation habits, and problem-solving ability Ability to consistently drive progress and hold trade partners accountable
