Our hospital is a destination for specialty care such as heart, cancer, stroke care and women's health. Swing Therapy beds for skilled nursing and rehabilitation are also available. What You'll Do A CT Technologist performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. CT Technologist Job Responsibilities * Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. * Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. * Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted. * Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Required Qualifications * BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart * Association or American Red Cross accepted. * High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. One or more of the following: * Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. * Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
