Organization: LoopRoots Foundation Location: Remote (United States) Commitment: Part-Time / 15–20 hours per week Start Date: Immediate Compensation: Volunteer (eligible for future paid role upon launch) About LoopRoots Foundation LoopRoots Foundation is the nonprofit arm of the Loop ecosystem — a family of social impact initiatives focused on transportation, reentry support, food access, and wellness programs for justice-impacted families and underserved communities. We partner with LoopTroop Inc., our mobility and technology branch, to connect individuals to transportation, jobs, and community resources through an inclusive, tech-driven model. Our programs include: LoopRoots Food Program – community food distribution and driver-assisted deliveries LoopConnect – sponsorship and credit-based support system for transportation and visitation LoopTalk – mental health and therapy check-ins for families LoopHome and LoopHousing – transitional housing and reentry support Role Overview We’re seeking a Recruiter who can help expand our growing network of volunteers, interns, and professionals across departments including Tech, Marketing, Programs, and Operations. This role will focus on sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding talent through platforms like Idealist, LinkedIn, Handshake, and Zoho People. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about connecting people to meaningful social impact work. Key Responsibilities Post, update, and manage volunteer and staff roles across recruitment platforms (Idealist, LinkedIn, Handshake). Source candidates and screen applications for open roles. Coordinate interview scheduling with department leads and the Founder. Maintain organized candidate tracking and communication in Zoho People and Zoho Recruit (if applicable). Support onboarding by ensuring new volunteers receive offer letters, Zoho logins, and onboarding instructions. Represent LoopRoots Foundation professionally and inclusively in all communications. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience or interest in recruiting, HR, or community outreach. Comfortable using online tools (Zoho, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, etc.). Organized, reliable, and able to handle multiple roles at once. Passionate about social justice, reentry support, or community-driven programs. Commitment 15–20 hours per week (flexible schedule). Remote collaboration via Zoho, WorkDrive, and Cliq.
