Lab Technician

Materials Testing Consultants, Inc. seeks individuals who work well independently and in team environments and are interested in starting or gaining additional experience in the construction and materials testing fields. You will be responsible for sampling, testing, inspecting, reporting and providing quality assurance for aggregate and construction materials. This role involves self-motivation, organization, attention to detail, consistency physical activity.Materials Testing Consultants has one (1) opening for full time, detail-oriented, well organized Lab Technician.Responsibilities:Documenting and recording information accuratelyProcess and communicate information in a timely mannerMaintaining a clean and organized working LabExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProviding health and safety assessments and regulatory oversightMaintain safety protocols and practicesQualifications:High School degree or GED requiredReliable transportation to facilityConsistent attendance to ensure a high level of quality serviceInspector/Technical mindsetAccuracy and strong communication skillsHigh ethical standardsOrganized in thought with strong critical thinking skillsPre-employment drug screen, physical with 50lb lift test, background test with a Motor Vehicle ReportFurther Qualifications:OSHA 10 Hour (preferred, not required - MTC will provide)Aggregate Level 1 (preferred, not required - MTC will provide)QC/CA (preferred, but not required - MTC will provide)Previous experience with Construction Materials Testing
