Job DescriptionJob Title: Production Worker Location: Detroit Lakes, MN Compensation: $17.00-$20.00 per hour - paid weekly Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-timeAbout the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Production Worker associates for a manufacturing/packaging facility in Detroit Lakes, MN. In this role, you'll help ensure products are packaged correctly, equipment runs smoothly, and the facility stays clean and organized. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Production Worker: Monitor packaging equipment to ensure proper operation throughout the shift Notify the Plant Operator of trouble spots or potential issues Inspect packaging materials and record any sub-quality materials Package products according to company standards Palletize finished product and operate the stretch-wrapping machine Perform housekeeping duties, including end-of-shift cleanup Assist maintenance personnel as needed Stage shipments and help load trucks Operate forklifts once trained and certified What You Need to Bring to the Production Worker Role: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. from waist to shoulder height Ability to stand for up to 10-hour shifts Ability to work around moving production equipment Ability to work extra hours when required Frequent bending and stair/ladder climbing (up to 120 ft.)
