Staff Psychologist - Mental Health Integrated Clinical Community

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. VA Careers - Psychologist: Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional * STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM MAY BE AUTHORIZED FOR HIGHLY QUALIFIED APPLICANTS* The Psychologist will be a member of a Des Moines Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program team providing psychological testing and psychological treatments to Veterans. Major duties include, but are not limited to: * Provide a full range of psycho-diagnostic services including psychological assessments and use of the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care. * Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for Veterans with a full range of mental disorders. * Conduct psychological testing and assessments utilizing objective measures, clinical interviews, chart reviews, and consultation with other treating Providers as needed, and prepare testing reports. * Provide a full range of therapeutic interventions, including evidence-based treatments for PTSD and other mental disorders. * Responsible for timely completion of all required clinical charting and documentation. * Meet quarterly and yearly work Relative Value Unit (wRVU) productivity targets. * Assume additional duties and responsibilities not delineated here but assigned as appropriate and warranted.
