This is a temporary, hybrid role responsible for managing product development from initial concept through production, with a strong emphasis on execution, cross-functional collaboration, and system accuracy.This role requires hands-on experience developing socks and accessories, including construction, fit, and manufacturing considerations. Expert-level experience in Centric PLM is required.Key Responsibilities:Own product development for NIT socks and accessory categories from brief through productionManage sock-specific development including: yarn selection, knit construction, gauge, stretch, and fit considerationsCreate, manage, and maintain accurate product data in Centric PLM, including: specifications, BOMs, costing, sample trackingCollaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, Product Integrity, Production, and Sourcing teamsCommunicate directly with overseas vendors and sock factories to: manage sample development and revisions, track timelines and deliverables, resolve construction, fit, or quality issuesReview samples for construction, materials, fit, function, and manufacturabilitySupport costing activities and ensure products align with margin and quality expectationsCoordinate testing and compliance requirements in partnership with Product IntegrityMaintain development calendars and ensure on-time execution against key milestonesProvide clear handoff documentation to internal partners for production readinessQualifications & Skills3+ years of product development experience, with direct sock and or accessories development experience preferredStrong understanding of sock construction, yarns, and manufacturing processesAdvanced / expert proficiency in Centric PLM (required)Experience managing multiple styles at different stages of development simultaneouslyStrong understanding of overseas manufacturing and vendor communicationExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentClear, professional written and verbal communication skillsWorking Style & ApproachProactive, execution-focused, and comfortable taking ownershipHighly detail-oriented with strong follow-up skillsCollaborative team player who communicates clearly across functionsAble to step into an established process and maintain momentum during coverage periodThis temporary position plays a critical role in maintaining continuity and execution for a key sock category during an active development cycle.
