Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Denver, Colorado High-Acuity NICU • 24-Hour Shifts • Flexible Monthly Schedule The Opportunity Join a high-performing Level III NICU team delivering critical care to vulnerable newborns. This locum assignment offers flexible monthly scheduling, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity environment. Assignment Details Location: Denver, ColoradoStart Date: June 2026Duration: June - July 2026 (potential for extension)Schedule:24-hour shifts3-5 shifts per month (targeting 4 - 5 shifts/month)Setting: Inpatient Level III NICU (no ECMO, no cardiac) Compensation & Benefits Weekly direct deposit payTravel & lodging options available (local providers preferred)Licensing support (active CO license required)Dedicated recruiter & streamlined credentialing What You'll Do Provide neonatal care for premature infants (28-30 weeks gestation) and other NICU patientsManage 16-18 patients per day in a Level III NICUParticipate in delivery coverage (NICU team attends 10-12 deliveries/day)Cover overnight shifts independently with neonatologist on call and pediatric resident supportCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality neonatal careUtilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination Requirements Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)Active Colorado medical license (required at submission)Experience in Level III NICU settingsAbility to work independently during overnight shiftsFlu vaccination required Why You'll Love This Location Denver offers the perfect mix of urban living and outdoor adventure.
