We pride ourselves on our hospitality-drivenservice, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and personable experience for our guests.The Role As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen with intention,creativity, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for overseeing all kitchenoperations, developing and mentoring our team, and ensuring every productaligns with Joy Hill’s standard and brand. We are looking for a leader who will take ownership ofthe kitchen, elevate the team, and help take our culinary identity to the next level while stayingtrue to our brand.Key Responsibilities ● Build, lead, and mentor the back-of-house team through hiring, training, and ongoingdevelopment● Create and maintain a positive, accountable kitchen culture● Oversee daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, and execution● Develop and refine menus & seasonal specials in alignment with Joy Hill’s vision● Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met at all times● Manage food cost, labor cost, and overall kitchen financial performance● Maintain vendor relationships and ordering systems● Implement and enforce kitchen systems (recipes, prep lists, pars, opening/closingprocedures)● Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards● Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership to drive overall guestexperienceLead and build our culinary expansion into events and catering Who We’re Looking For ● 5+ years of kitchen leadership experience● Experience in wood-fired pizza making techniques● Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a high-volume environment● Strong understanding of food cost control, labor management, and kitchen systems● Hands-on leadership style● Passion for ingredient-driven cooking and thoughtful menu development● Strong organizational and communication skills● Commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and operational excellence● Ability to build systems from the ground up or improve existing ones● ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)What Success Looks Like ● A kitchen culture where team members feel supported, challenged, and motivated● Consistent execution of high-quality food and presentation during every service● Efficient systems that support both creativity and scalability● Strong financial performance across food and labor costs● A menu that evolves thoughtfully while staying true to the Joy Hill identityCompensation & Benefits ● Competitive salary (based on experience)● Health benefits● Paid time off● Dining discounts● Opportunity for growth within the companyPerformance based bonus To apply please send your resumé along with a little bit about yourself and why Joy Hill would be a good fit for you.
