Testing Technician

Overview: We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual for our Testing Tech position. The main responsibility of this role is to perform pre-delivery inspections on brand new trucks before they are sent off to the main facility. The ideal candidate should be familiar with basic tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and hammers. The use of battery-powered impact and screw guns is preferred but not required. This role does not involve any diagnostics or extensive repairs.Location: On siteShift / Hours: T raining - 6am to 5pm; Monday to Friday,Occasional Saturdays (maybe 1 every 6-8 weeks)Responsibilities: Perform pre-delivery inspections on brand new trucks before they are sent off to the main facilityMake small modifications to the trucks if necessaryFamiliarity with basic tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and hammersPreferred use of battery-powered impact and screw gunsWork with high dollar shop tools such as frame drills and torque wrenchesMaintain calibration of torque wrenches every quarterRequirements: Mechanical inclinationFamiliarity with basic toolsAbility to work with battery-powered impact and screw gunsAbility to work with high dollar shop toolsAbility to maintain calibration of torque wrenches every quarterAbility to work with metric and standard toolsExperience working on cars is a plusTHIS IS NOT A CLIMATE CONTROLLED SHOP.
