DEFINITION: The purpose of this job/class within the organization is to provide administrative support within a specific department or division. This job/class works under close supervision according to set procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Not all-inclusive): * Checks on and inspects for safety athletic programs, facilities, and equipment. * Completes facility maintenance checklist * Completes attendance and non-employee accident reports * Enforces facility rules and regulations * Umpires games and keeps score as needed * Maintains adequate records. * Makes sure half field lights are on/off as needed * Drags lines and rakes fields * Checks facility use permits * Replaces equipment as needed (nets, bases, and plates, etc) Additional Duties: Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Graduation from high school supplemented by six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in coaching, refereeing, scorekeeping, etc. Special Certifications and Licenses: Must have a valid Florida Driver License CPR and First-Aid certifications required and must be obtained, and maintained, within 6 months of appointment to position.
