Job Description:
Serve as a liaison between school staff, families, and the community to support effective communication. Assist with the development and distribution of school communications including newsletters, announcements, flyers, and family updates. Maintain and update school communication platforms such as the school website, social media accounts, and digital messaging systems. Support the coordination and promotion of school events, programs, and family engagement opportunities. Work with teachers and administrators to highlight student achievements, classroom activities, and school initiatives. Assist with preparing communication materials for parent meetings, special events, and school-wide initiatives. Ensure that communications are accessible and family-friendly, including coordinating translation of materials when needed. Collaborate with district administration to ensure communications align with district messaging and priorities. Help respond to general communication inquiries from families and direct questions to the appropriate staff member. Support emergency or time-sensitive communications as needed. Coordinate morning announcements for Arcade and Delevan Elementary Schools.
