This role blends strategic planning, channel expertise, and client leadership, acting as a key partner to both clients and internal teams to drive measurable business outcomes.This individual is both a strategist and operator, capable of developing growth roadmaps while staying close to execution across media, lifecycle marketing, and ecommerce performance.Role OverviewAs an Account Strategist, Ecommerce, you will own the development and orchestration of integrated growth strategies across DTC, marketplaces, and performance channels. You will serve as a strategic extension of the client's team, connecting media, creative, analytics, and ecommerce initiatives into a cohesive plan that drives acquisition, conversion, and retention.You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal specialists while maintaining a strong understanding of channel performance, customer behavior, and emerging trends.ResponsibilitiesEcommerce & Growth StrategyOwn the development of holistic growth strategies across DTC websites, marketplaces, and digital marketing channelsDefine KPIs, measurement frameworks, and growth roadmaps aligned to client business objectivesIdentify opportunities to improve conversion rate, AOV, retention, and customer lifetime valueLead strategic planning sessions, QBRs, and roadmap development with clientsPerformance Marketing & Channel StrategyDevelop cross-channel media strategies across:Search & Shopping including emerging AI driven variantsPaid Social PlatformsProgrammatic and retail media platformsGuide campaign planning, budget allocation, and channel mix decisionsPartner with execution teams to optimize campaigns toward ROAS, CAC, and LTV goalsTranslate performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendationsMarketplace & Ecommerce OperationsProvide strategic oversight for marketplace channels including Amazon (Seller/Vendor Central)Advise on pricing strategy, content optimization, and marketplace performanceAlign ecommerce merchandising, promotions, and landing page strategies with campaign effortsMonitor competitive landscape and identify opportunities for growth and efficiencyLifecycle & Retention StrategyGuide development of email and SMS lifecycle programsDefine segmentation, automation strategies, and retention initiativesEnsure lifecycle marketing aligns with acquisition and overall customer journey strategyAnalytics, Testing & OptimizationLeverage analytics to track performance across traffic, conversion, CAC, ROAS, and LTVNavigate approaches to attribution in the interest of growth & performance.Lead testing strategies across media, creative, and onsite experienceBuild and interpret reporting dashboards to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesAnticipate performance issues and proactively recommend solutionsClient Leadership & CollaborationAct as a primary strategic advisor to clients, translating complex data into clear directionPartner with Account Management and cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive strategiesLead client conversations around performance, optimizations, and growth opportunitiesSupport new business efforts through strategic input and solution developmentCross-Functional IntegrationCollaborate with Creative, Analytics, SEO, CRM, and Engineering teams to ensure aligned executionIntegrate insights from multiple channels into unified strategiesAlign digital initiatives with product launches, inventory planning, and broader business goalsDesired Qualifications5+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or growth strategy rolesExperience across performance marketing platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic, etc.)Strong understanding of ecommerce ecosystems including DTC and marketplaces (Amazon preferred)Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendationsExperience with lifecycle marketing (email/SMS) and customer retention strategiesFamiliarity with analytics tools and reporting platforms (Google Analytics, dashboards, etc.)Strong familiarity with attribution and modeling as well as a point of view on their application.Strong understanding of both brand and performance marketing and how they work togetherExperience working in an agency or consulting environment preferredStrong communication, presentation, and client-facing skillsCollaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional initiativesBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Medical, Dental, VisionLife/AD&DFSA - Health/Dependent CareVoluntary Life/AD&DRetirement PlanFTO - Flexible Time OffPaid Holidays Annually: 13Opportunities for professional development and growth.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.Contribution to impactful and innovative projects in the digital pensation Disclaimer:Compensation Range: $105,000 - $120,000 annually.
