Quality Technician Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting quality assurance and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Quality Technician Location: Decatur, TX Pay Range: $23-$25/hr Shift: 1st- 8am-5pm or 2nd- 3pm-11pm (OT available) What's the Job? Perform dimensional and visual inspections on first article and last article production parts, including AS9102 FAIRs (first article inspection reports) Prevent defective, non-conforming parts from reaching the customer Document non-conforming material and provide feedback for root cause analysis and corrective actions Review manufacturing records and prepare certificates of conformance (CoC) and dimensional inspection reports (CofD) Conduct quality audits to ISO9001:2015/AS9100D standards, prepare reports, and follow-up on findings What's Needed? High school education or GED equivalency Good aptitude working in a precision machine shop environment Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and interpreting drawings Experience using machine shop metrology and test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, profilometers, and coordinate measurement machines (CMMs) is a plus Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) What's in it for me?
