TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a XBN Coordinator in Decatur, IL. This is a 1st shift position and the pay is $25hr. Overall Purpose The XBN Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating sample parts through the Sample Part Approval Process (SPAP) from initiation to completion. This role serves as a critical liaison between production sources and customer facilities, ensuring all parts meet required quality standards, timelines, and documentation requirements. This position requires strong cross-functional coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple systems and stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing and quality environment. Reports to Site Manager/Area Manager Responsibilities * Manage the full lifecycle of sample parts through the SPAP process * Ensure all parts meet customer specifications and quality requirements prior to approval * Coordinate dimensional inspections (CMM requests) and validation activities * Monitor and track non-conformances, deviations, and corrective actions * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all tracking systems * Act as a liaison between production, quality, engineering, and customer teams * Provide timely updates on part status, risks, and delays * Escalate issues that may impact delivery timelines or quality standards * Collaborate across multiple sites and departments to ensure alignment * Serve as an impartial third party to ensure product compliance between supplier and customer * Support client expectations by ensuring transparency, accuracy, and responsiveness * Contribute to customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution * Prioritize and manage multiple parts/projects simultaneously * Ensure timely movement of materials between locations * Support continuous improvement efforts in SPAP and tracking processes * Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and procedures * Other duties as assigned Technical * Utilize multiple systems daily to track, manage, and report on part status. * WQS (Web Quality System): Track audit progress and validation status * BIMS: Manage inventory movements, holds, and transfers * QSHOP: Submit inspection requests (CMM) * ETQ: Manage PPAP documentation and deviations * Barcode Tracking System: Track part movement between locations * SPAP Tracker: Monitor overall pipeline and status of all sample parts * MTS (Movement Tag System): Generate and update tracking tags * Repack Power Log: Submit repack requests as needed Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Hard Skills Values & Attitudes * Proficiency in English * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * Ability to Coordinate, prioritize and multitask * Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced, challenging environment * Ability to take initiative and recognize needs * Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material * Experience with quality systems, inspection processes, or manufacturing operations * Strong proficiency in: * Microsoft Excel (data tracking, basic analysis) * Microsoft Teams, Word, and PowerPoint * Familiarity with: * PPAP processes (preferred) * Non-conformance and deviation tracking * Measurement/inspection coordination (CMM exposure is a plus) * Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple internal systems Global team spirit * Team player * Caring for people * Open-minded Excellence * Reactive * Resilient to pressure * Rigorous Customer focus * Client oriented * Reliable & trustworthy * Flexible Initiative * Autonomous * Innovative * Daring Work Experience Overall Recommendations * Minimum 1+ year of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or operations role * Experience in a manufacturing or production environment required * Experience coordinating across teams or departments preferred Education Background Overall Recommendations * High school diploma or equivalent required * Additional training or certifications in quality or manufacturing (preferred but not required) About TRIGO Global Quality Solutions Founded in 1997, TRIGO is a multinational company providing operational Quality Management solutions for the manufacturing sector, especially in the automotive and aerospace industries.
