We are looking for experienced and technically skilled individuals who are passionate about advanced defense technology and have hands-on expertise in operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex systems such as Radars, Air and Missile Defense, and Command and Control (C2) systems. This role offers a dynamic work environment with frequent travel opportunities, including assignments that may last over two months. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, a commitment to customer support, and the capability to deliver both formal and on-the-job training. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex systems by utilizing manuals, schematics, and remote support for a variety of electro-mechanical issues. Collaborate with team members to resolve complex problems effectively and efficiently. Communicate design and reliability issues to the engineering teams for continuous improvement. Act as the primary contact for customers while on-site, ensuring excellent service and support. Assist with customer installations and provide comprehensive training on Saab products. Compensation Range: $72,000 - $90,000 Your compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the job responsibilities, location, market conditions, and your personal qualifications. Skills and Experience: Required Qualifications: High School Diploma; a BA/BS degree in an engineering field is preferred but not mandatory. Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field or 4 years of relevant military experience as an Air Defense or Battle Management system operator/maintainer. Must possess a current U.S. DoD SECRET clearance. Able to lift and manage components weighing up to 50 pounds. Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and/or repairing complex weaponry and Command and Control systems. Ability to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance per established procedures. Skilled in identifying and executing troubleshooting actions beyond standard protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to radar components and systems. Familiarity with diagnostic test equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes. Capable of recognizing performance issues and providing solutions to maximize system efficiency. Citizenship Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen. Selected applicants may undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for classified information access.
