Latchkey Coordinator

Latchkey Coordinator (Part-Time) Location: Norwood Elementary - West Jefferson, OH Organization: Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center (ESC) Position Overview: Madison-Champaign ESC is seeking a dependable and organized Latchkey Coordinator to lead the Norwood Elementary Latchkey Program. This position plays a key role in creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students before and/or after school while overseeing daily program operations. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling (morning and/or afternoon hours), ranging from 20-40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee daily operations of the latchkey program * Supervise and evaluate staff * Participate in hiring and onboarding of program staff * Manage program purchasing and supplies * Ensure compliance with daycare licensing rules and regulations * Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment for students Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred * Valid ODE license/permit (or ability to obtain upon hire) * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare or daycare setting * Knowledge of daycare licensing rules preferred * Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting Additional Information: * Start Date: August 3, 2026 * Schedule: 20-40 hours per week (AM and/or PM shifts available) * Some summer hours are required for training * Salary: Commensurate with experience, per approved salary schedule Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, resume, and completed application to: Mary Mitchell Madison-Champaign ESC 2200 S US HWY 68 Urbana, OH 43078 ?? 937-484-1557 ?? mary.mitchell@ Or apply by following this link:
