Locum CRNA Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $4,020 - $4,690 Start Date: May 18, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks (with potential to extend) Shift Duration: 8-hour days Shifts Per Week: 5 (Mon-Fri; preference for full-week coverage; priority need Thurs & Fri; flexible alternating weeks) Hours Per Week: 36 Department: 31 ORs at a Level I Trauma & Pediatric Center - wide surgical case mix (cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgery, OB, pediatric, thoracic, trauma) Job Type: Locum Tenens CRNA / Anesthesiology / Travel CRNA CRNA Job Requirements Ideal candidates for this Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position will meet the following qualifications: Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience (acute care/OR experience preferred) Advanced practice certification; CRNA Board certified or Board eligible Active Pennsylvania CRNA license or ability to obtain state licensure quickly Current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required Proficiency in anesthesia techniques: general, spinal, epidural, regional, and open-heart/cardiac anesthesia Strong clinical judgment for ventilation management, acute volume/BP management, and trauma/anesthesia emergencies Experience with invasive monitoring and procedures (central lines, arterial lines, PA catheter placement when required) Locum CRNA Responsibilities Provide perioperative and acute anesthesia care across a broad surgical case mix: cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgery, OB, pediatric, thoracic, and trauma Administer general, spinal, epidural, regional, and open-heart anesthesia; manage postoperative pain including epidurals and extremity blocks Perform regional anesthesia and interventional pain procedures (e.g., epidural steroid injections lumbar/cervical) with imaging guidance as indicated Manage advanced airway and ventilation strategies and execute acute hemodynamic interventions Place and manage invasive lines (central venous, arterial, PA catheters) when required for patient care Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff; supervise, mentor, and support CRNAs and OR teams to ensure high-quality patient care Why Danville, PA?
