Center Coordinator Job Description Reports to Center DirectorPosition Summary: The Center Coordinator supports the daily operations of the daycare by managing administrative tasks, assisting the Center Director, and helping ensure smooth communication between staff, families, and leadership. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility, including providing classroom support when needed to help maintain ratios and daily operations.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a point of contact for families, staff, and visitors, providing friendly and professional communication via phone, email, and in person.Assist the Center Director with daily administrative tasks, organization, and follow-through.Maintain accurate records, including enrollment paperwork, attendance, licensing documentation, and employee files.Process tuition payments, invoices, and other financial or billing-related tasks as directed.Assist with staff onboarding, training documentation, and personnel record-keeping.Help coordinate parent communications, center events, and special projects.Order and manage office and center supplies as needed.Provide classroom support as needed, which may include assisting teachers, supervising children, or covering short periods to maintain ratios and ensure child safety.Assist in maintaining compliance with state licensing and regulatory requirements.Support general office operations, including filing, data entry, and correspondence. Qualifications:High school diploma required; associate or bachelors degree in business, administration, or a related field preferred.Experience in office management, administrative support, or childcare administration preferred.Ability and willingness to work in classrooms as needed.Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable using computers, office software, and childcare management systems. Experience with the childcare platform, Brightwheel, preferred.
