A per diem opportunity is available to support pharmacy operations at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a 340B pharmacy program in Dansville, NY. Immediate coverage is critical to prevent potential pharmacy closure. This role demands experienced retail pharmacy staff with strong supervisory skills and the ability to manage daily opening and closing procedures. Location: Dansville, NY (approximately 50 miles south of Rochester and 80 miles southeast of Buffalo) Schedule - Per Diem Coverage Dates: Thursday, 4/2: 1 PM - 7 PM Saturday, 4/4: 9 AM - 3 PM Tuesday, 4/7: 8 AM - 7 PM Wednesday, 4/8: 8 AM - 7 PM Saturday, 4/11: 9 AM - 3 PM Responsibilities: Open and close the retail pharmacy following established protocols Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with operational standards Manage daily pharmacy workflow in a busy FQHC and 340B environment Utilize Rx30 software for prescription processing (training provided if experienced) Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid New York State pharmacist license in good standing Proven experience opening/closing retail pharmacies Demonstrated ability to supervise pharmacy technicians Familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs preferred Previous experience with Rx30 software is beneficial; training available Additional Information: Mileage reimbursement available Lodging may be provided for candidates traveling more than 75 miles Meal stipend of $50 per shift if lodging is provided This is a per diem position-ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible hours without long-term commitment.
