Job Summary The Director oversees and manages all operations of the Ken White Student Health Center, ensuring the delivery of high quality health services to students. This position provides leadership, supervision, and professional development for staff, while also serving as the primary point of contact and maintaining oversight of the Collaborative Agreement with the Medical Physician. Minimum Annual Salary: $73,700/year - salary commensurate with experience Benefits Include: * Healthcare options * Retirement options: Teachers Retirement Systems (TRS) or Optional Retirement Plan (ORP) * Tuition assistance * $100 Well-being rewards * 13 paid holidays * Paid vacation and sick leave * Paid parental leave * Winter break (December holidays) * USG Benefits Position minimum qualifications updated 01/30/2026 Responsibilities Directs and manages the planning, development, provision and administration - 50% * Directs patient care. * Develops, updates and implements policies and procedures. * Serves as Laboratory Manager. * Establishes vendor contracts and maintains supply inventory. * Coordinates, collaborates across campus, and implements regular health and wellness events, including, but not limited to, health fairs, blood drives, health screenings. * Develops and manages Health Center budget. * Develops assessment and measurement/survey tools. * Compiles, evaluates, and enters data for regular or special reports. Manages the work of personnel - 10% Hires, trains, assigns, directs, supervises, and evaluates 2 full time medical and 1 part time support staff. Performs direct patient care and maintains related records - 35% * Establishes and updates Electronic Medical Record (EMR) user accounts and privileges. * Maintains and updates patient portals. * Updates EMR forms and procedures. * Assists with patient check-in as needed. * Performs laboratory tests. * Performs physical assessments, obtains patient histories, determines medical diagnosis, prescribes medications and treatments. Performs a variety of related duties - 5% * Completes training and maintains professional licensure * Serves on campus committees. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program. Other Required Qualifications Current active unencumbered Georgia or multi-state compact RN and APRN Licensure, or ability to readily obtain. Current National Certification (ANCC or AANP). Required Experience Three or more years of related experienced required. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience * Experience in a higher education setting. * Experience supervising professional staff * Familiarity with EMR Pyramed Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities KNOWLEDGE * Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA guidelines. * Knowledge of college policies and procedures. * Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs. * Knowledge of University System of Georgia policies and procedures. * Knowledge of health and wellness programs and services. * Knowledge of student health care principles and practices. * Knowledge of medical terminology and protocols. * Knowledge of personnel management principles.
