Hours of Work :Variable/Rotating/On CallDays Of Week :Variable/Rotating/On CallWork Shift :PRN (United States of America)Job Description :Job PurposeThe Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) will provide timely, non-judgmental, compassionate care to the sexual assault victim. The SANE exam may include a medical-forensic exam, prophylaxis for pregnancy sexually transmitted infections, photographic documentation, and referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up, support and participation in legal proceedings. Job Requirements:Education:   Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing- BSN preferredLicenses and/or Certifications:Valid and Current Texas RN license.Current SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) certification from the Texas Attorney General office orCurrently in-progress of certification and obtained within 6 months of hireCurrent TNCCWork Experience:Two years of Emergency Department or Acute Care Experience, preferredMethodist Dallas Medical Center is one of North Texas’ best places to work.
