PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Transacts the physical product from one area to another via kitting and/or direct floor requests Matching materials with Traveler (product description sheet) Ensures that work and work area comply with the 5S program Ensures workstations are filled up with work Keep WIP areas filled up and material flowing throughout their respective area of responsibility Inform Supervisors and Leads when WIP areas are below or above expected levels of material, components or WIP Scan Job Completions Scan Labor Pick up completed jobs and place them in queue area Match covers and frames for upholstery Update day-by-hour production boards Help expediting reworks Replenish working stations with raw materials and supplies Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate them to Supervisor Implement and follow up projects for Continuous Improvement Audits Use computer systems like 4D and/or Oracle as needed Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required Follow up with reworks sent to other departments Fill up and send requisitions of department consumables KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to interact collaboratively with others Ability to lift 25 to 50lbs Ability to work in a production environment climate and non-climate controlled. EFFORT Continuous walking, bending, lifting Lifts products up to 50lbs Overhead reaching Works in a production environment and in areas not climate controlled MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Ability to communicate in English Basic computer skills Ability to work overtime as required
