This is a full-time night shift position (3x12s weekly) in a multi-specialty medical-surgical ICU environment. The provider will work collaboratively with attending physicians to manage critically ill patients and deliver evidence-based, high-quality care.Requirements Acute Care Certified NP or Physician Assistant with valid national and state licensureActive Georgia license requiredMinimum of 1-2 years of ICU experience as an APPProficient in ICU procedures, including:Central line insertions (CVLs, vascaths, introducers)Arterial line insertionsMust provide case logs of procedures for credentialingLocal candidates preferredResponsibilities Manage and monitor critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU settingCollaborate closely with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teamsPerform and document thorough assessments, procedures, and follow-up notes in Cerner EMRParticipate in multidisciplinary rounds and communicate ongoing patient status to care teamsInterpret diagnostic testing and implement appropriate clinical interventionsPosition Details Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Night Shift)Workweek: Three 12-hour shifts per weekAPP-to-patient ratio: 10-15 ICU patients per APP (with attending MD support)Overtime: Daily after 24 hours; Weekly after 40 hoursOn-call: NoTelehealth: NoCommunity Overview Cumming, Georgia, offers a blend of suburban convenience and scenic tranquility just north of Atlanta.
