Job Description:
We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current Indiana state license in good standing.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered respiratory therapist, including care in critical care and general medical floor settings (client requires 2 years).BLS and ACLS certifications required.Experience with ventilators and respiratory equipment including PB980, Servo U, V60, Airvo 2, Optiflow JR, Metaneb, and Volera preferred.Experience using Epic EMR preferred.Preferred: prior experience in a hospital setting with approximately 200 beds and rotating weekend coverage every other weekend.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift: Evenings.Shift hours: 1400-0200.Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.Weekend requirement: rotating every other weekend.Call requirements: none.Dress code: grey scrubs; employee parking available at reporting location.Location Highlights The assignment is located in Crown Point, IN, offering convenient access to regional parks and urban amenities.
